Shane Deckert

Shane is a licensed Professional Engineer, Project Management Professional, and has a BS in Civil Engineering and a minor in Spanish. He also has his Masters in Business Administration. He also has 15 years of experience in the military, consisting of work in building design and construction. Shane has taken on his own development projects, turning land into profitable AirBnB’s, as well as multiple ventures in rental properties. Shane is also a proud father, avid runner, and enjoys spending time traveling the world with his family. Shane started his real estate investing career in 2018, purchasing his first rental unit in California. He now owns a portfolio of residential rental units and is a Limited Partner in over 150 units. Shane is also a General Partner for two properties in Florida totaling 44 units, playing a major part in asset and CAPEX project management. Shane runs his real estate investing company, Marathon Communities, and personally operates under his motto of “growing your wealth isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon!”
