There wasn’t any cures, until there was.

I’m the little baby my brother Jamoore is holding in the profile picture.

Why I Ride for Breakthrough T1D Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) isn’t just a cause for me, it’s personal. My brother JaMoore has been fighting this disease since he was diagnosed at 9 years old. I’ve watched him push through highs and lows, setbacks and surgeries, all with relentless grit. Today, he’s on the transplant list for both a kidney and pancreas and endures dialysis three times a week just to stay alive yet he wakes up every day with a fighter’s spirit and a smile. T1D is a relentless autoimmune disease with no known cure. It demands daily blood sugar checks, insulin injections or pump infusions, and constant monitoring just to stay balanced, all while trying to live a "normal" life. It never takes a day off. That’s why I’m supporting JDRF, the leading organization funding research for better treatments and ultimately a cure. I will rife 100 miles a year until there is a cure found. Your support means the world. Let’s be the reason T1D becomes a thing of the past. 💙🚴🏽‍♂️
